Dr. Florian Wolf (CEO)
Dr. Florian Wolf received his Ph.D. in Cognitive Sciences from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
While at MIT, he mostly worked on topics related to language, speech, and information processing.
Some of this research was sponsored by the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (U.S. Department of Defense).
After graduating from MIT, Dr. Wolf was a postdoctoral Research Associate in a bioinformatics project at the Department of Computer Science and the Department of Genetics, University of Cambridge (UK).
Together with Prof. Edward Gibson (MIT), Dr. Wolf recently published a book→ on text processing and information extraction.
After his postdoc position at Cambridge, Dr. Wolf focused on developing technologies for operational risk management for the alternative investments sector and other industries.
Supervisory Board
Dr. Jürgen Schulze (Chairman)
Dr. Jürgen Schulze received his Ph.D. in Theoretical Physics from the University of Southern California, Los Angeles.
After a postdoctoral position at the University of Hannover, Dr. Schulze joined Perceptronics Inc. and worked on distributed simulations, based on CORBA, COM, and EJB.
Dr. Schulze also worked for cleverLearn.com, combining electronic dictionaries and eLearning technologies.
Then Dr. Schulze consulted at Credit Suisse Financial Planning Solutions, and at the Credit Research group at HypoVereinsbank.
Currently Dr. Schulze consults at the Research Operations team at UniCredit Markets and Investment Banking.
Dr. Werner Posch
Dr. Werner Posch is a consultant in Financial Engineering.
He received his doctorate in Mathematics from the University of Munich.
In 1996, Dr. Posch co-founded a software company for eCommerce solutions, which was sold to a Fortune 500 company in 2002.
Currently Dr. Posch is working in the field of algorithmic trading.
Markus Schmidt
Markus Schmidt is a software architect, primarily involved in web-based and database solutions in a variety of business sectors including finance, sales and distribution, and e-procurement.
He specializes in security, quality assurance, interoperability and scalability.
As a consultant, Mr. Schmidt also helps enterprise customers to evaluate und adopt new technologies.
Mr. Schmidt has been in the software development and consulting business for almost 10 years. In 2001, Mr. Schmidt co-founded Microstep Information Technologies AG.

Microstep Information Technologies AG (German website→) is a company focusing on developing mathematical models and solutions for the financial sector and other industries.
Microstep Information Technologies is led by Dr. Richard Sizmann, who received his doctorate in Solid State Physics from the Technical University of Munich.
After graduating, Dr. Sizmann spent three years as a research scientist at a Norwegian research institute founded by Norwegian Telecom Research, the University of Oslo, and other Norwegian research institutions.
Dr. Sizmann then worked for various German companies doing research on computational models for solid state physics.
