Dr. Jürgen Schulze
Dr. Jürgen Schulze received his Ph.D. in Theoretical Physics from the University of Southern California, Los Angeles. After a postdoctoral position at the University of Hannover, Dr. Schulze joined Perceptronics Inc. and worked on distributed simulations, based on CORBA, COM, and EJB. Dr. Schulze also worked for cleverLearn.com, combining electronic dictionaries and eLearning technologies. After that, Dr. Schulze consulted at Credit Suisse Financial Planning Solutions, and at the Credit Research group at HypoVereinsbank. Currently Dr. Schulze is a consultant at the Research Operations team at UniCredit Markets and Investment Banking.
Karl Milojkovic
After receiving his Diploma in Economics, Karl Milojkovic started his career at Compaq Computer. Following different positions in Sales and Marketing, Mr. Milojkovic joined the Compaq Management as Head of the Channel Tele-Consulting Team in 1996. After receiving an MBA from the St. Gallen Management Institute, he was Director of the medium-sized businesses division at Compaq. Then Mr. Milojkovic worked for Hewlett Packard as Sales Director of the Customer Solution Group. In 2006, he joined Fujitsu Siemens Computers, where he was Director of Commercial & Channel Business. Since 2009, Mr. Milojkovic is responsible for sales and partnership management at the German branch of the Swiss ABACUS Research AG.
Prof. Dr. Edward Gibson
Prof. Dr. Edward Gibson is Professor of Cognitive Sciences at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Department of Brain and Cognitive Sciences. He received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University. The focus of Prof. Gibson’s research is on how computational complexity affects human language processing. His laboratory uses a variety of techniques, including reaction time studies, computational models, neuroimaging, and trips to the Amazon (cf. here). Prof. Gibson is a rower; he was on the Canadian Olympic team, and he won the Oxford-Cambridge Boat Race while he was at the University of Cambridge.
